Dear Faithful One,

Imagine you are the hostess of an event when the king of a country walks into the gathering. Imagine the eyes of the guests turning from you to the prominent figure who entered the room. John the Baptist said in John 1:16, “He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’” Are you fighting for center stage instead of taking a back seat and giving God center stage?  We create our own stress when we try to surpass God. He existed before us and His plans continue after we are gone. Is it time to step aside and give God His rightful place?
