2001: The birth of the first Inspire Conference and awards luncheon
2002: The first scholarship fund was established to assist undergraduate level studies at the interdenominational College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas
2003: The ministry separated as an independent 501(c)3 with the name Inspire Women. Scholarship funding expanded to assist Master’s level students at the interdenominational Dallas Theological Seminary-Houston campus and women’s ministry programs at SW seminary.
2004: Inspire Women’s leadership internships started for singles, widows and empty nesters to develop women to serve at their potential in their seasons of life.
2005: Anita Carman’s book “When Dreams Won’t Die” sparked the ministry’s first endowment fund. Thousands of copies of the book were underwritten by Eleanor “Puddie” Pitcock and distributed in the city.
2006: The first endowed scholarship fund was established with commitments for estate gifts to help support the ministry’s general overhead.
2007: Inspire Women’s Leadership Institute (later named Inspire Women Leadership Academy) was established for more focus to mentor pastor wives, ministry leaders and scholarship recipients
2008: Obeying God’s direction to establish a permanent ministry to empower the potential of women to change the world, Inspire Women’s permanent headquarters/spiritual oasis was established. Leading the capital campaign were Chuck and Kim Watson.
2009: Moody Publishers condenses Anita Carman’s writings in tradebook format and distributes her teaching on a national level
2010: Inspire Women’s spiritual oasis is fully operational and used year round to spiritually replenish those with leadership and shepherding responsibilities. The first business women inner circles were added to reach women in business. To empower those in missions and ministry, Inspire Women began funding ministry grants.
2011: Anita Carman, the Founder and President of Inspire Women is featured on a daily program on KHCB radio FM 105.7 giving thousands a daily reminder of God’s truth and the existence of Inspire Women to journey with women to change the world.
2012: The first pilot was completed to offer Inspire Women’s leadership training over the internet
2013: Inspire Women’s multi ethnic vision gains momentum, gathering women from all ethnicities at the Inspire Women conference to be inspired to change the world for Christ.
2015: Inspire Women is given a column in Jill Briscoe’s Just Between Us Magazine that reaches women nationally and internationally.
2016: Inspire Women Studio is completed to forever capture voices of wisdom to be passed down to future generations
2017: The book A Daughter’s Destiny launches on Amazon and hits best seller status. The book and build includes a bible study that goes with the book and can be brought into churches and the workplace. The materials are also being translated into Spanish.
