God’s biggest miracle this year took place in our own hearts. In the midst of losses with flooded homes and displacement among our staff, our students and our supporters, we stayed steadfast and in fact, increased our momentum to empower women for Christ.
Inspire Women’s conference in March 2018 registered 3,200 women followed by a Leadership Conference in June 2018 that registered over 500.
God moved mountains in our spirit and parted the waters in our ministry. 60% percent of Inspire Women’s scholarship recipients come from backgrounds of abuse, 40% are ministry leaders whose churches do not have the budget for their education. These women are walking testimonies of God’s miraculous intervention. Just imagine a woman from an abused background, touched by God and empowered to be trained to return to confront the very challenges she survived. Imagine a ministry leader finding renewed strength because God sent us to refuel her and to invest in her potential to change the world.
This August we will have a new elevator at our spiritual oasis, currently under construction through the generosity of Mary Ann Belin and Richard Otwell, CEO of Axiom Construction. The new elevator will make it possible for senior leaders and anyone with a disability to get to our monthly gatherings. Inspire Women’s spiritual oasis offers 2,000 leaders a year-round safe sanctuary to process losses, challenges and detours in their lives and sustains them in service.
God’s presence continues to keep us and to propel us to increase His presence on earth. We celebrate our sisters in Christ who came from Pennsylvania to attend Inspire Women’s Leadership Academy, our invitation to speak at Dr. Evan’s Desperate for Jesus conference in July in Dallas, and the launch in September of Inspire Women’s Purpose Match training, to train women to map the stories of their lives to God’s purpose.
We’re all about women finding their spark to change our world for Christ. Our sparks for Christ connect us to each other and as we grow, our glow is spreading. Imagine what God sees from heaven! Thank you for glowing and growing with us!
