Has life become all about you? The more we focus on ourselves, the smaller our world gets. The Bible shows us that loving others is the way to enlarge our lives. Our world gets bigger when we invest in the welfare of others. Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, “Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” If you’re feeling lonely in your world, perhaps it’s time to step outside of your small world to reach others.
