What does it take for a team to be in alignment with the mission? It takes focusing on the same voice and submitting to the same leader. Inspire Women’s Doodles for Christ are learning what it takes to be a team as they are in training to be dispatched with our seminary students and graduates to bring the love of Christ to those in crisis.
What about us? Are we in alignment with God’s voice on our mission? When life is constantly changing and we can’t be sure of anyone or anything, we must stop staring at the turbulence and anchor more intently on the steadfast voice of Jesus. We no longer ask “Where are we going Lord?” as if circumstances can throw God off course or influence His ultimate destination. Instead we stick with what God has already spoken to us and we say, “Show me Lord how else we can arrive?” We learn to be fluid and expect to be astounded. He might lead us to march around the walls of our Jericho seven times. He might lead us to slip through a resistant crowd. He might lead us to put a rod in the water even when it makes no sense why this particular rod has anything to do with the water parting. We get to witness that God does not play by human rules or limitations. So we simply embrace we are on the ride of our lives like no other ride because God is leading. And yes, there will be days we will feel the daunting implications of a mission that will cost us. But when we get past counting the cost, we stop wasting emotional energy recycling our commitment to finish what we started. We position ourselves for victory beyond our wildest imagination because we have settled we are running and finishing this race, whatever it takes!!

Wow! God is leading me. I must focus on Him not the negative surrounding me.
“Stop staring at the turbulence and anchor more intently on the steadfast voice of Jesus”
Everywhere you turn you can see Inflation , war, illnesses, hurricanes and so on. It’s so hard to get away from the depressing, stressful news. And personally difficult to keep upright when going through trying times. It is so easy to become fixated on the negative aspects of life. It can be so overwhelming and leave one burdened and feeling hopeless.
Thank you for highlighting the power of the steadfast voice of Jesus against sight of turbulent times in this broken and down trodden world.
Praying that His promises ring louder in our hearts and minds, more so than what is presented before us.
He is our hope.
Fixing my eyes on Him…

I’m so grateful that Inspire Women’s goal and focus is so clear. I’m grateful that it’s leaders are tuned into God’s purpose for His daughters that they will in turn lead others to their purpose in God’s kingdom.
God’s ways are not our ways. How else could you know it is God that accomplished so much.
